WHAT WE BELIEVE

HOLY BIBLE
The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is our final authority for faith, life, and truth.  (2 Timothy 3:16)
JESUS
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and now reigns forever. He is our high priest and advocate now seated at the right hand of the Father.  (Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 12:2, John 1:1, 14, 20:28; Philippians 2:5-6)
TRINITY
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, equal in nature, and perfectly united in purpose. (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6;
SALVATION
Salvation is a gift from God, made possible through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Every person needs God's grace and mercy.(Romans 3:23-24; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 1:9)
ETERNITY
Every person will spend eternity either in God's presence or separated from Him. Through Jesus, we receive the promise of eternal life. (John 14:1-3; 1 John 5:11; Revelation 20:15)
HEAVEN
Heaven is the eternal home of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. It is a place of perfect peace, joy, and fellowship with God. (Matthew 5:3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:21, 25:34; John 17:24; II Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; I Peter 1:4).
HELL
Hell is a real place of eternal separation from God, reserved for those who reject His grace and salvation through Jesus Christ. (Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8)
WATER BAPTISM
Baptism by immersion is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes dying to our old life and being raised to new life in Him. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:36-39; Romans 6:4)
HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is active in the lives of believers today. He empowers us to live holy lives and equips us for ministry. We believe Spirit baptism is a separate experience from salvation and that speaking in tongues is one biblical sign of this baptism.  (John 16:13-14; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11; Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:4, 38-39, 19:4-6)
COMMUNION
Communion is a sacred act of remembering the sacrifice of Jesus and celebrating His resurrection and promise to return. (Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
MARRIAGE
Marriage is defined in the Bible as a covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman, instituted by and publicly entered into before God. (Matthew 19:4-6)
SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
Jesus will return again just as He promised. He will judge the world and establish His eternal kingdom. (Matthew 24:29-31; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
DIVINE HEALING
Jesus is our Healer. We believe that healing—spiritual, physical, and emotional—is available to us through faith in Him. (Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-15; 1 Peter 2:24)
POWER OF PRAYER
Prayer brings breakthrough, shifts atmospheres, and releases God's will into our lives and our world. (Philippians 4:6-7; James 5:15-16)
SANCTIFICATION
Sanctification is the lifelong process by which believers are made holy. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we are set apart from sin and conformed to the image of Christ. (I Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23; II Corinthians 3:18, 6:14-18, II Thessalonians 2:1-3, Romans 12:1-2, Hebrews 2:11)
